Business Development Advisor

A seasoned veteran of the M&A and private equity worlds, Nakamura currently guides the investment direction of OGI Holdings, a multi-disciplined asset investment/management company. He began his career with Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (currently Shinsei Bank) where he worked for seventeen years providing guidance on financial products and M&A services to corporate clients. In this capacity, he was also a member of the bank’s strategic planning team. Nakamura then joined Cerberus Japan, a leading US private equity firm, where he played a critical role in the acquisition of Aozora Bank and Kokusai Kogyo by Cerberus Capital Management. He later became CEO of Japan Sotheby’s International Realty, where he led the initial implementation of the master franchise for Japan. Since 2009 Nakamura also served on the Board of Trustees of Colorado Heights University, located in Denver. Leading up to his current role at OGI Holdings, he was Managing Director of Nimbus Associates, a boutique M&A advisory firm in Tokyo.
